Give your hands some winter love with this moisturizing quick tip

Winter is always tough on my hands, especially when I'm doing dishes. A few years ago, I began investing in rubber dish washing gloves. I love using them in the winter. Yesterday, I applied some moisturizer to my hands before putting on the gloves to do dishes (actually load the dishwasher). The heat of the water, combined with the moisturizer, gave my hands much needed TLC. Give it a try!  Your hands will be much happier.

Have you ever noticed how often we cut up plastic credit/id/faux coupon cards? It makes me cringe thinking about the amount of plastic that is mailed and tossed out in every household. Well, here's an idea for reusing that plastic in your crafts...

...use the pieces as mixers, scrapers, stirrers!

I work with glue and resin quite a bit and have found that these pieces are perfect to stir and scrape the sides of my containers.
