Why I blog - read it on Scoutie Girl

Some of you, particularly family and friends, may wonder why I blog. I often wonder myself. When Tara, at Scoutie Girl, asked her contributors if we wanted to post about why we blog, I jumped at the chance. You can see why I blog here on Scoutie Girl.

Do you blog? If so, why? If not, ever tempted or morally opposed?

Have a fantastic weekend. I'll be blogging next week from the slopes of Park City, UT!

  1. When I started blogging I thought it was going to be a chore. I did not know what to write about, or even how often to post. Once I figured out what I was passionate about it made blogging much easier. Now I love blogging, I love building a community, I love all the people I have connected with, and finding new things to share. I'm addicted.

  2. Why I blog. I love sharing all of my discoveries...and there are many every day. I also like showing off my creations and the creations of others. Then probably the most important part...I always got the "talks to much" checkmark in elementary school...drove my parents crazy.

  3. I blog to share a bit of myself and the things I enjoy with others. It's a way to learn more about what I enjoy (through reading other people's blogs as well as the kinds of things I end up blogging about). I'm a VERY shy person and this, for me, is cathartic. I might say things that I wouldn't ever know how to say in conversation with someone else, and then hopefully people will respond back.
