Pain at the Pump!

I had to put gas in my car this morning as it could no longer run on vapors. It's a chore that hurts deep. My receipt reads $61.57.

I've been pretty good about biking, consolidating errands, and generally not driving. When we bought our current car, it got better gas mileage than our previous smaller car. Hybrids were new then, and expensive, so we didn't get one. Oh, how I wish we had something more green and economical!

Always trying to look for the positive in the situation, here are two good outcomes to this gas crisis:

1) GM is considering no longer making Hummers.

2) Japan has made cars that run on water.
