ReplyDeleteI usually don't refer to politics online, but I voted for John Edwards in the primary of the Presidential election. He seemed genuine and a champion for the poor and I loved his wife. I saw them as a package deal.
ReplyDeleteI'm saddened by all the hardship, both in her personal life and with her health. It reminds me to live as brightly as possible with as much grace as I can muster.
Thank you for saying this. I agree whole heartedly. I was surprised by how affected I was by her passing. She is someone I have grown to admire as time has gone by. All too often, in time we learn why people in the public eye shouldn't be held in such high esteem. She was not one of those people.

ReplyDeleteI have always admired her, especially having a Grandmother that survived breast cancer. It is no easy journey... and to lose her battle? Totally leaves me feeling very fortunate.
