Modern porch swing

I've always thought it would be great to have a swing indoors. Yes, first I'd have to have the space, but I can dream can't I?

I was visiting one of my favorite modern websites and came across these great powder coated steel swings [via GrassrootsModern]. They are by Rick Brown and David Cano of Brown Studios, in Louisiana. Available in orange, teal, white, charcoal, and black - $700.00 + shipping.

These make me wish I had a porch or loft.

  1. These are very cool! We have a front porch swing, and once you're in it, it's hard to get out!

  2. I like the idea of an indoor porch swing. I also like those hanging wicker pod chairs that came out in the 70's (?).

  3. I have a teal wicker porch swing that is in need of repair. I'm thinking that this swing would be a great update. Thanks for posting.

  4. BH, I think it's worth the investment. The steel is certainly more durable and should last forever.

    Thanks for commenting!
