Flowers from my boys

My house is filled with flowers that I received for Mother's Day.  The air smells so sweet.  I Thought I'd share a few special ones with you.

 M cut and arranged some branches from our flowering crab apple tree.  He even filled my vase with river rocks.  I was touched by his attention to detail.

E painted a flower pot and filled it with a plant.  It is sitting on my kitchen window sill waiting to bloom.  What a treasure.

Highlights from our NYC trip

I hope you had a nice weekend.  I spent the first part of Mother's Day in Urgent Care for E's itchy eyes.  As I thought, he has pink eye.  However, my evening ended with a lovely dinner out, flowers, a spa gift certificate, lovely refrigerator frame with picture of E, and nostalgic candy bars from M.  A day spent with all of my boys is a wonderful Mother's Day.
