Reuse cut up credit cards - crafting quick tip

Happy Monday, everyone!

Have you ever noticed how often we cut up plastic credit/id/faux coupon cards? It makes me cringe thinking about the amount of plastic that is mailed and tossed out in every household. Well, here's an idea for reusing that plastic in your crafts...

...use the pieces as mixers, scrapers, stirrers!

I work with glue and resin quite a bit and have found that these pieces are perfect to stir and scrape the sides of my containers.

Local Providence store, Kreatelier, hosting spring workshops

Kreatelier, an innovative textile product design and manufacturing studio is located in Providence, Rhode Island, will be hosting spring workshops for kids and adults.

"Kreatelier was established in 2007 by two European friends, Pernilla Frazier and Line Daems. The two met as parents at the French American School of Rhode Island. They are the perfect match, a ying-yang combination of creative chaos and carefully considered organization."

Pernilla and Line are incredibly talented and their new store is gorgeous. The workshops range from Patchwork Totes for adults to Shrinky Dink Fun for kids (both taught by two friends of mine, Lisa at Pink Lemonade Boutique and Anisa at http://www.kidoinfo.com/ respectively).
