Face time with friends - OM [one moment] meetup #33

I just said goodbye to my friend, Cyn (RiverDog Prints), whom I just met in person after months of online blog and twitter conversations.  She was visiting from CT for the Craftland opening last night.  The party was great with a big crowd of people and lively shopping.  I also finally met Liz (Made in Lowell) face-to-face as well.  It's funny how we can recognize each other from our online avatars. Craftland is always a bright, cheery, happening kind of place.  It was energizing to be surrounded by talented people and their work.

We (me, Cyn, my friends Ann and Mandy from Studio Six) ended up at a nice, although loud, restaurant downtown where we enjoyed great food, sangria, and wonderful company.  Between laughter and yelling over the music, I thought about how lucky I was to be out on the town with smart, talented, and all around great women.  Friendships are good for the soul.  Thank you, ladies!

om [one moment] meet upOM is a weekly meet up that promotes living in the moment.  Whether funny, sad, ridiculous, or banal, actively looking for and sharing these moments will promote balance in our lives.

Share in the blog comments here, on your own blog (and link back below)  or on my Facebook fan page. If you are on Twitter,  use hash tag - #omMeetup so we can converse if we'd like. We'd love to hear your moment this week!

Craftland Holiday kick-off and meeting some Twitter friends in person

Tomorrow is Craftland's big holiday kick off party. I'm looking forward to seeing so many of my creative friends and their goods. The party is from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Come out and join us!

Two people I'm really looking forward to meeting are Cyn from RiverDog Prints (CT) and Liz from Made in Lowell (MA). I've known both of these talented ladies through blogging and Twitter for some time. I talk to them almost daily and tomorrow I get to meet them in person.

RiverDog Prints is the home of beautifully designed cards,
notepads, gift tags, and more.

You will find hand-felted, crocheted or knitted accessories and jewelry
as well as polymer clay and paper goods at Made in Lowell.

Stop by Craftland to see these wonderfully designed, handmade items. I promise that you'll find something special for everyone on your holiday list!  Check out the entire list of participating artists (including moi).
