No comment - OM [one moment] meet up, week #17

om [one moment] meet upI remember a time when I was driving to see my therapist trying to think of what I was going to talk about that particular week.  When I sat across from her and mentioned this her response was, "If you can't think of anything to talk about, you really don't need to see me."

As I sit down to write this post, I realize that I don't have a moment to share with you this week.  Racking my brain defeats the purpose of this exercise.  This week, I didn't have that one moment.  It's the first time in 16 weeks.  I'm not sure if that is a reflection of my current state of mind, or simply that I had a very busy week.

I can, however, share this photo that made me smile.

I hope you had a nice moment this week.  Tell me, I'd love to hear it.

Share in the blog comments here, on your own blog (and link back below) or on my Facebook fan page. If you are on Twitter, I've started a hash tag - #omMeetup so that we can converse if we'd like. We'd love to hear your moment this week!

  1. Enjoying a photograph is a moment -- quick, fleeting, but just for yourself. (Plus, it's a moment you can repeat over and over again!)

  2. Like most mothers, my baby is my moment. It's the little things, like playing in the backyard, that make me stop and notice.

  6. Okay, I'll accept that the photo and blogging can also be my moment this week. But, I could still see a therapist. Can never get enough, lol!

Thanks, all! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

  7. Blogging is absolutely therapeutic and I haven't been doing enough of it. I'm reading but not posting.

My One Moment was seeing my best friend from college after 20 years! I hadn't realized how much I missed her. Being back in her presence was so life affirming! She is more like a sister to me than my own. Instantly you know there are no judgements and it was like a huge breath of clean fresh air. I'm lucky that the hubs and I have that too but there's something about those very few special girlfriends that can't be replaced by anyone else. You know that they will be there through thick, thin, and thinner! Ladies... cherish those friendships :)

  8. Kimberj, that is a wonderful moment to cherish. You are right, there's nothing like best girl friends (and guy friends) who know you like family.

  9. Sometimes we don't realize anymore the succesion of moments, they fly too fast, but doesn't mean we lost them;only we take a break of counting them.
    Have a nice weekend Linda!

  10. I agree Dana. Life comes at us sometimes. It's nice to be reminded again, to slow down and look for those moments!

I hope you are having a great weekend as well. Your photos in your OM post are wonderfully fun!
