Random Got Beautiful

Several weeks ago, I came across this website, Random Got Beautiful. Created by Nikki Farquharson in March 2007, "the concept is to take photos containing dominant colours out of their original context and place them together to create a new one." [source]

I submitted two of my pictures (red hydrant and empty chair); they were accepted and are now on display on the red and blue pages. I'm a little tingly inside.

Have a fantastic weekend! Next week, I plan to post a long overdue Living Handmade with photographer, Diana Brennan. I also have two other great post/possibly features coming up. One of which welcomes your involvement!

  1. That's a cool idea. Congrats! I'm looking at the site now.

  2. Isn't it a great site? Love pulling random photos together like that! Anyone can submit!

  3. Congrats...very cool. Reminds me of making a watercolor quilt.

  4. What a cool site! Congrats on having your photo's included.

  5. Congratulations! I submitted a photo, too, and it was accepted. In the White color section, top left. The orchid.

    Love the hydrant!
