Hump Day Hijinks

Taking art to the streets, Improv Everywhere (a troupe of performers) jolt people from their everyday surroundings by staging unexpected scenarios.

Created in August of 2001 by Charlie Todd, Improv Everywhere has executed over 70 missions involving thousands of undercover performers. The group is based in New York City. In the clip below, see what happens when hundreds of people suddenly freeze in the midst of commuters at Grand Central Station.

This was such a big hit, Law and Order: SVU fictionalized it on a recent episode. Why am I not surprised?!

Thanks, LNK, for sharing this with me!
