Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I always miss Chicago on this day! Where else can you see a river dyed green, skip work to drink green beer with thousands of people wearing green, and celebrate with a big parade even though you aren't Irish.

To all my Chicago friends, a special
Happy St. Patrick's Day to you!

For those of you unfamiliar with the tradition of dying the Chicago River neon green, I posted a video two years ago here.

Not the same St. Patrick's Day...

So, yesterday was St. Patrick's Day. Typically, it's like any other day for me. I happened to wear green (not on purpose) and that was the extent of my celebration. Yet, something was missing.

Then it dawned on me. Having lived in Chicago for so many years (and now in RI), I just didn't see enough green. Well, after tracking this down, I feel much better!
