The moment we've all been waiting for - OM [one moment] meet up #57

photo added 12/30/11:  graduation day, June 2011

Today is Chris' graduation from residency at Brown University.  We made it!  What was once a pinhole at the beginning of a long tunnel, is now a glorious light shining toward our next phase in life.

We made it!  Through ups and downs, thick and thin, hell and high water.

I am so proud of my husband.  He left an unsatisfying career in banking to explore a passion to learn medicine.  He has worked hard and made sacrifices.  He has put in long grueling hours.  He is an amazing advocate for his patients.  He loves and respects all those who work around him.  He has shown my boys that anything is possible and it's never too late to do what you love.  He has taught me what it's like to show true compassion for humanity.

Congratulations, Chris!  You did it!
